 | My son is 2 1/2 years old and of course we feel he is pretty acceptional but do wonder if he is advanced. We find ourselves not saying too much about it because we know that all parents feel thier kids are great and dont want to look like we are bragging! Most people that we do talk to reply 'Wow,thats good!'or say we should put him in preschool to help him advance more.(NO!)
His accomplishes,if I may;knows the alphabet,can count to 15 and to 20 with help,knows 10+ different colors,4 or 5 shapes,is good with puzzles,remembers many words to songs,can name about 20+ different animals and thier sounds as well as the names of all family members both sides,and every charactor on Sesame,RugRats,Dora,Veggietales,ect...and so much more! I was just wondering what other children around his age do and how to help him achieve his full potiential without pushing him. To us he is awsome no matter how he rates against others,so at least this will give all you other loving parents a chance to let your sweeties shine too! |
