My cousin's child has the same problems but is a girl, was tested and is not autistic. She was tested twice by different Dr.s. She is a slow learner and has OCD. My Dr. did tell me that even if a child has a sign or two of an autism trait, it does not mean he is autistic. She did say the main sign is a child who is babbling/cooing, starting to talk then all of a sudden forgets these skills. My Son's sppech has been improving. It's the aggression that's come out of nowhere! My sppech pathologist said that kids with Expressive spech delay are often labeled as behavior ridden or autistic. When it happens to be that they cannot connect their words and thoughts properly. I will let you know when we start the testing . Good Luck!
