SUBJECT: HELP...single parent...new girlfriend
I have a 4 year old girl and am a single Dad. I have a new girlfriend and my daughter gets very competitive and sad when I show any affection towards my girlfriend. I have been with her for 4 months and have taken my time introducing the two of them. My daughter really likes her, but if I pay any attention to my girlfriend my daughter goes off by herself and sulks, or asks me if I love her any more or simply states "you don't love me". My girlfriend is frustrated and feels that she is in competition with my daughter. I hope someone can help. JMan
