I'm pretty sure it's normal for him to react this way (doesn't make it easy). I gave birth to twins when my oldest was 19 mths old and he had a hard time ajusting. We had also moved just before the birth so it was a double wammy. When I came home from the hospital he wanted nothing to do with me and would not do as I asked.
Maybe try to get him one little friend to play with rather than a group. Try other discipline methods like withholding rewards. One method I found works well with my 3 yr old is a happy face drawn on a paper plate we blutac to the fridge, if he is naughty we replace it with a sad face and we tell him this is how we feel inside when he is naughty. He usually responds very well and really wants the happy face put back up. - you need to try and destress as kids react to parents emtotions. Congrats on the new baby, hope all works out. | | | |
