 | Thanks for your insight and words. We have now gotten all of the info to the doctor and have our evaluation appt. this coming Friday, so I am very eager to find out what is up. My son has been in OT, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, and went to an Early Childhood Development School for 1 year and is still in Speech Therapy for the remainder of kindergarten. I am so looking forward to a diagnosis, or at least finding some new path to travel. I am remaining quite consistant, but still very tired of the same things. I am now trying to come up witha discipline for lying. If you know of any let me know. He has figured out that even it he gets a yellow or red card for the day at Kindergarten (meaning he got into trouble and had some sort of discipline) he can still mark green on his sheet that he brings home and he won't get into trouble. He had not had many green days in row and were trying for 5 in a row, and then a reward would be due, but all of the sudden we had 12 in a row and I called the teacher to check it out and she said no way. That was definately not the truth. So, now I have yet another battle to work through. Anyway, thanks for the words, good luck to you too. I know what you are going through, it is just good that we are such good parents that we can step back and see these things and get the help we need for them to make them the best kid they can be. Kudo's to us!!! |
