My daughter has the same problem with her stool, if she goes only once a day it is usually fine but if she has 2-3 it will be full of mucous. Someone once told me that they read that sometimes a breastfed infant can have a "gelitan" looking substance in the stool and was normal. Have you ever heard of this? I would assume it would look like mucous? Anyway did you have any trouble when you breastfed only? I've tried to substitute a little soy milk and hers seems to be worse. What are your plans? Just curious. I'm starting a milk free diet for her and I. We'll see.
