| I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 3 years ago (at 18). I had it under control and in remission when I became pregnant, however, in my 5th month of pregnancy colitis came back with a bang. I have been in pain and struggling with it now for the past two months. Now in my seventh month of pregnancy, I take 9 asacol pills a day, rather than the usual six. Being a first time expectant mother, I am very worried, about my baby and want everything to be okay. All doctor visits have been okay, and only time will tell. Good luck to all mothers out there, and hopefully everything will be good for us. Please keep me posted on all births with u.c. mothers. thank you. |
