Hi. Congratulations on the pregnancy! I am 21 weeks pregnant (first pregnancy, 27 years old) and in the beginning weeks I had spotted. It was not heavy but it still scared me. My HCG level was fine but my progesterone level was a little low. I was on progesterone supposotiries (spelling) for 5 weeks. My spotting ended by the 7th week. I have had a wonderful pregnancy so far and feel great! Good luck to you and let me know how she's doing. Spotting is common in the beginning of pregnancy. The main concern is the heaviness of it and if it's also accompanied with cramps. Good luck! Melissa
