I am more concerned with why you didn't mention gettig rid of the dog!!! I love pets. I believe pets and small children can live in the same home and both CAN be safe. You had your dog growling at what we both know was your BABY!!!! I don't think you have much to worry about whe it comes to infection... I would be worried about her safety...
