You do what you and your husband want. You can always take BC. If you tie your tube you would have to undo the process in order to get pregnant. I am sorry for you that she does not like you having her grandchildren. I do not know what I would do if my mother in law did not like me. 24 is really young to be fixing yourself to not have anymore kids. Having your tubes tied is not that big of a deal. I have a lot of friends that have done it. It can be done anytime with out a lot of down time. My best friend in the whole world is 21 and she got her's done after her 2nd child was born last year. Now her husband has left her and she has been with this new guy for almost a year who has no kids and wants some. Good Luck!!
