I'm in the exact same situation! I have irregular periods, but they have become even more irregular since trying to conceive. My last period was dec. 10th and i just took my second negative HPT this morning. I have all the symptoms of pregnancy (which are similar to PMS), but i have neither a positive test or my period. What's harder is that I can't try again (if I'm not pregnant) until I get my period. I'm going to the dr. wed. morning. There is medicine that will regulate your period. It's called prevera., then if you do not ovulate (which may be the case with irregular periods like myself) there is another medicine that stimulates ovulation. I'd go see a dr. if this is causing you the anguish and tears that it causes me. I'll keep you posted. Best wishes and I'll be crossing my fingers for you!
