| | | NEXT MESSAGE  | | | | | AUTHOR: | lyrical_girl | DATE: 01/20/03 1:30pm | | SUBJECT: |  falling grades, plz help | | | hi, i need some MAJOR help. i'm 15 years old (sixteen in april) and i'm in grade 12. i started high school when i was twelve. because of this my parents were pretty easy going at first about my grades because i was so young and i had plenty time to make it up. however, now i'm trying to pass and it's not working very well. for example, i've taken grade 9 math three times, grade 10 math twice. i've failed two non-mandatory courses. i am currently in the 2nd time through grade 11 university prep english, and i am failing horribly. on the plus side, i've been working really hard in math, and i've managed to pull it up considerably. however, i told my parents this was the year i pulled my socks up and i did try. but i was so busy getting good marks in my other class and focussing on math. i sort of assumed that i'd be able to make it in english, and now my naivete has screwed me over. i think my parents are truly fed up and i don't know what to do. please help me... anything is greatly appreciated. email me if you want: lyric_13@hotmail.com
