 | i have a 17 yr old. my husband and I drink occasionally - a couple of times a month maybe. we have alcohol in the house.
when i was a teen my parents allowed me to have a drink or beer at home, when I asked, and we were having a party or somthing.
i always thought i'd do the same with my kids, but now that my kid is 17 i'm hesistant, but at the same time i know that he will experiment as all teens do.
is it better to let him experiment at home, or is it inevitable that he'll drink away from home. am i sending the wrong message do you think if i let him have a beer with his dad once in a while.
i'm just not sure - i dont want him to drink, but i'm sure he will eventually, even though he is underage.
