I have read about 4 messages in reply to your plea I too am in the same situation. I have temp Custody of my 15 month old Grandson. have had him for 6 months now. he also sleeps in my bed. he is ok during the day time for naps to be in his crib, but the nights he refuses to sleep in his bed. I have given into the thought that maybe he just feels safer in my bed cause he sleeps really well there.I think that it's hard to pin point what children are experiencing especially when they cannot tell us.I know that it is difficult for us to get the rest that is needed when we have a child in our bed. the only thing that helps me deal with it is knowing that I am giving this little child some sense of feeling secure. I am willing to sacrifice some sleepless nights for him. I believe he will evitually come around and feel safe enough to be back in his own bed at night. I like you have tried everything. this is the only thing thats works for me. I like you and open for any information to change this situation if it can be done.
