SUBJECT: Want to be dad again
i legally consented to my son being adopted by his birth mothers husband 9 years ago. A year later they got divorced and the new legal father moved away and hasnt been in my sons life for over 5 years. I am now a part of my sons life again and the adoptive father is willing to sign off his rights and the birth mother says she would consent to me being his legal father again. Is there any way i can adopt my son to regain legal status as his father again?
Any ideas would be helpfull as i have no idea where to go
