SUBJECT: Scalp mass
My 5yr old daughter has had this bump on her head for 3 weeks now that I have noticed. I took her to the ER the other night and they took a CT scan and said to them they think it is possibly a cyst but can't guarantee me 100% since it is not liquid filled...we followed up with her pediatrician the next day and she is baffled as to what it is but says she doesn't think it is anything to worry about and has labeled it as a scalp mass and referred us to a surgeon....yeah right...I am known to worry over everything. She is due to see a surgeon for a 2nd opinion on the 29th...has anyone else been through anything like this?
