SUBJECT: swollen glands
hi all, im new here n i wanted u all to help me out here. my 2 yr old son has had swollen lymph nodes around his groin area ever since he was a year old(pea sized) . they r painless n dont cause any distress to him. my doctor says after an infection in some kids esp. boys they dont go back to their original size. but im really worried . we took blood tests . they r ok except he had a count white blood cell count of 17000 which the doc says was caused by a probable viral infection as it was the winter season n flus n stuff. now please is this ok or am i right in being worried? neone else have a similiar case? please ease my anxiety.....
