Mom of Teen w/ ADD has Nutritional Q's

Hello, I am a mother of a 13 year old boy who was diagnosed with ADD 5 years ago. Frankly, I haven't found a wonder drug that makes school any better. Fortunately, he has a wonderful personality (to everyone EXCEPT me right now, he's funny, and he's not afraid to work for his spare money. My concern is his morning routine.

I was told that he shouldn't take his meds with Vitamin C or D. He has a hard time swallowing pills so he "needs" something with flavor. Try finding a nutritious drink that doesn't have Vitamins in it. Oh and I almost forgot the most important part...he doesn't like to eat breakfast which doesn't help with the attention in school part either. I figured he could take his meds about 1 hour before school - if I can get him motivated. But I was wondering if anyone had tried protein drinks? We are going to try a new one I recently found. I would like anyone's input on this. He has been quite a challenge in school and anything to help would be great!
