Oh..I've been there! Are you using disposable diapers? My oldest had horrible rashes and we discovered it was the disposable diapers. We used good old fashioned cloth diapers from a diaper service, NO diaper wipes (because they generally burn) just wash rags, and a mixture of Desitin and A & D ointment. When this wasn't enough, we were able to get a prescription w/ Cortisone. I would not suggest using any over the counter cortisone creams until you talk to your doctor. Some of the diaper services are actually cheaper then disposable or comparable in price. Plus they are environmentally friendly and they do all the "dirty work".
Good Luck! I had 2 with bad rashes. Fortunately only one required prescription!
