2? yr boy has fear to have bowel movement

My 2½ yr old son for several months has a fear of a bowel movement. I have to use a suppository to get him to poop. We tried senokot but it gives him stomach aches. Tried diet but he is a picky eater.
When he does have a bowel movement it is not as if his stool is hard.

He does get the urge and will pass gas but some how turns the urge off and won't go.

This is very concerning to us. I was thinking of trying mineral oil next. PLease help suggest what else to do.
