SUBJECT: is laying down really the way to go??
i am dreading the hospital but i've got no other choice unless i can hide the labour pains until its too late to make it there since home birthing options, doulas, and midwifery is soooo d*mn expensive.
so i am looking for alternatives to the standard yuckness and sterility and fecundity of hospital births
i've heard through the grapevine that "squatting" to give birth rather than laying on your back is less painful and faster.
has anyone else heard this or is it just a bunch of bulloney??
