I have the same problem, and it is heartbreaking. Mine is about 4-6 weeks now. The blood count on Dec. 12 was 6000, and on Dec. 14 was 9000, but my doc didn't seem happy about it although I have done a lot of research, and many sources say hcg more than 6000 will take about 3-4 days to double. Then, we had sonograms on Dec. 12 and Dec, 16, and all we saw was a sac, with no fetus. I have no sign of miscarriage, no cramping or bleeding. On Dec. 16, my doc said she would schedule D&C for me if I wanted, but I think that wasn't fair. There is still hope, right? So, I am asking for another blood count tomorrow (Dec. 21), and sonogram Dec. 23. If I am only 5 weeks, the sonogram might not be able to detect the baby. I am scared, confused and very sad. If I am not the lucky one with this baby, I hope, I wish you guys will.
