I have a seven year old girl. She is in the second grade. she begged me for glasses. she claimed that she couldnt't see the blackboard.I took her in for an eye axam, and much to my surprise the doctor told me that she didnt need glasses. After talking with her for awhile I discovered that she wanted glasses because wanted to look smarter. All the kids in her class who were smart wore glasses according to her. According to her all the other kids made fun of the ones who wore glasses because they were jealous of them being smarter. She also revealed to me that the boys who wore glasses were the cutest ones.
