Can you tell me if there is research to show that antidepressants are not harmful to the fetus?
I am very worried. My daughter is toward the end of her first trimester. She appears to be suffering from depression. This is her second pregnancy. I don't remember any of these symptoms the first time, except for the nausea for the first 14 weeks. But not the depression.
Of course, this time there are two major differences: she is now working (she was NOT working this first time) AND she has a preschooler now which obviously she did not have the first time.
I am really worried. What do you know about antidepressants during pregnancy?
