Oh boy--- been there...except only for 5 weeks.. The only thing that worked for us was LOTS of hairgel and shower gaps...for 48 or more hours...it suffocates the lice...then the nit combing (for hours!!. I am concerned (although I am not a medical person or anything) that your neice has had it for so long...that just seems unreal..isn't the doctor freaking out that it won't go away?? Really though the hair gel works..it is gooey..and lots of greasy looking hair but it worked way better than any meds! And constantly nit combining!
