SUBJECT: 41 weeks, no effacement, barely 1 cm.
I am in my 41st week and each time I go to the doctor there is no change in my cervix. I realize it can change rapidly, but I am wondering if this happens to more women than I think. This is my first pregnancy, and I know that can mean going past your due date, but most people I know had at least some effacement. I am scheduled to be induced on 12/10, but if it is unsuccessful I could be in for a C-section. Anybody else out there been in the same boat?
