SUBJECT: Privacy in School
My family and I have recently moved back to the town where my husband and I grew up. Our son is now attending the school that we both attended. At the end of my son's second grade year last year we had him tested for ADD, we got several different opinions and concluded that he in fact had ADD and would benefit from medication during school hours only. This was very difficult for all of us and we kept it very private for the sake of our son. Well, the school nurse told her niece about it and she happens to be a friend of my sister's. I am so angry, but I want to handle this right. Does anyone know what my son's privacy rights are?
