I was a 29 year old virgin.

People used to call me weird all the time. Even now I can't stand for anyone to call me weird. I'm a construction worker and I work with all men. They used to hit on me all the time. But I stood my ground because I wanted to wait until I was married. I waited. I got married a year ago. It was worth the wait and I don't regret it. I have my self respect and peace of mind. My husband was a virgin too at 26. We have no one to compare our sexual relationship with. I don't say in the back of my mind, "Well Johnny used to do this". We have something special just between us and were happy and satisfied and learn together. Were very open with each other so that the other's needs are met.

Believe me, I know how men are. They will use you. I'm not saying that your boyfriend is this way, but if he tries to pressure you in any way then he's not putting your interest before his. A good relationship is when too people want to make each other happy.

I have 4 brothers and I used to sit and listen to them talk with their buddies. They view women as objects. My own brothers included. And they brag to each other if they're leading you on.

Please wait till you get married. Hopefully you won't take as long as I did to get married (I was pretty picky) but it will be worth it.

And be happy and self confident that you have the strength to hold your ground. That's one of the things that kept me going.
