MY 13 YEAR OLD SON HAS LEARNING DISABILITYS

Well im not sure if this is the write board to post this on but this is my problem hope someone can help me

not so long ago I was told my 13yr old son had learning disabilitys with reading, writing and but not so much with the reconizing words but where to put them the work he is doing in class is way below all the other students apart from maths where he seems to be passing I dont know why an im planing on taking him to a specialist to see what I can do about this I am surprised that they didnt pick up on this a long time ago but at the moment im just confused.

And should I keep him in a normal school as I have been sujested some special schools I can put him in?
