My two boys 11 & 12 tell me they forgot their homework, but in reality that just don't want to do their homework. Usually they would tell me they didn't have homework. I also took their sports away and told them school will always come first so they had better get used to it. I told them I had always wanted to be a school teacher and thanked them for giving me the opportunity and made up very difficult homework which took twice as long. They would complain and say but Mrs. Davis doesn't make us do this or that. My response would be that if they wanted to do it Mrs. Davis' way then they would have to bring their homework home and do her assignments. Also the Principal made them come straight to her office each morning to get her signature on the homework and we would also sign the homework each evening. If the work was not complete she would notify us. We are very fortunate to have a Principal and Teachers that are willing to work with us.
