 | I totally agree that all kids are different. Part of the reason that our son is a night owl is because when I worked I worked the late shifts (3pm-12am), I had my husband keep our son up until I got home otherwise I would be just getting to sleep and he would be ready to get up for a feeding. When we moved to another state I became a stay at home mom and my husband was on first we would all be in bed at 10pm and up by 7amm which was fine. When we got a different job and we moved to where we are now he works third shift, so we all ended up as night owls again, lol. I figured as long as he is getting the sleep he needs and I am getting the sleep I need then all is well. I do enjoy that he is ready for bed at 10:30, since I can go to bed then or at least have an hour to relax by myself before I am ready to crash. Wow, how do you get your twins to bed that early? We tried to put our son in bed at 8pm and he'd be ready to start the day 4am. Your kids must be pretty good sleepers. I think our son was down to one nap by your twins' age. It is very exhausting being pregnant and having a 2.5 year old running around. Plus, having the baby move around inside of you half the night, ugh no sleep. My husband curled up to me one afternoon during my nap and asked me how the heck do I sleep with the baby moving around inside of me. I looked at him and said now you know why I crash when our son crashes for a nap. LOL. I really couldn't imagine having two little ones moving around inside of me. I bet you didn't get whole lot of sleep. Thanks, our baby is due Dec 15 unless she decides to come early. Loving Wife and Mother of a Toddler with One on the Way. |
