Hi, SamBenGab to be honest I am lucky to get our son asleep by 10:30pm which we just started with the help of the time change otherwise he didn't go to bed until 11:30pm. He'll then sleep from 10:30pm to 7:30am or a bit later. Then his quiet time is from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, so when he finally gets to sleep he usually sleeps from an hour and a half to two hours. We've tried to put him to bed earlier but he would be ready to get up alot earlier than 7:30am, try like 5am - ouch. He as I am have always been a night hour. The only reason I started to put him to bed at 10:30 since the time-change is because of his playgroups twice a week and school once a week. I am definately not ready to give up his naptime, yet. I find that alot of days that he is sleeping I like to lay down and take a nap myself, especially since I am eight months along and am finding it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The fights and tears don't really bother me because I know what kidn fo night we'll have together if he doesn't get his nap and he really doesn't fight.cry for long before he is sound asleep. I do know as he gets older he'll have to start going to bed earlier but I figured he is only in Preschool so I have until the end of kindergarten to get him to bed at an earlier time since the naps will be out of the question when he starts first grade.
