I bled a lot on and off during my first trimester. The doctor put me on bedrest. Also, my doctor did an ultrasound on me and could not find the baby (at about 6 weeks). I had an ultrasound at the hospital (at about 7 weeks), and they found the baby. I am now 18 weeks pregnant and have not had any bleeding for a while. Hope this puts your mind at ease and good luck.
