Dear Worried,
It sounds like you've been exposed to no more than the average person. You can't live in a bubble. You took every precaution to avoid fumes and it sounds like you did a good job of it. My mom had six of us and used all kinds of household cleaners and paints. We came out none worse for the wear. While I'm not condoning dipping ones head in pure polyurethane.......
