| Hello kim, tks for this topic as it really gave me more ideas on how to deal with my dear daughter. I have 2 year old who is very loving most of the time but when she throws tantrums, she gets angry and talks backs while pointing fingers to our face. She doesnt hit nor bite but she is very expressive releasing anger thru that manner. I never spank her, i tried to discipline her either by ignoring her or stopping her using my firm voice. Sometimes, she listens but there are times we are both tired (by the way, i have inadequate sleep coz she hasn't slept thru the night) so whenever i lost my temper, the more i get guilty after yelling at her. That is why, i want to be as calm as i can. I'm glad to find out that i am not the only mother who feel this way. I love my daughter so much but being a working mom with some hormonal imbalance, i also get stressed out. I hope i would maintain my sanity in dealing with my 2 yr old toddler. It is not easy coz i also have some emotions to resolve but i will always pray for more strenth and patience. I would welcome any comments from other moms as well.. Tks. Krisna. |
