 | I have a 4 year old and twins that just turned 2. The 4 year old is just starting to grow out of naps, so he's not so bad the rest of the day. However, the twins just revolt when I try to put them down. If I leave the room, they jump on the beds, etc. If I stay in the room, it becomes a game with each trying to sneak out of her bed while I'm putting the other one back until I'm ready to blow my stack. I give them time out's, but it has no effect. I finally gave up on naps a few of weeks ago, because it's not a battle worth fighting. Now they stay up until 7:30 or 8 and get up before 6am! They are crabby & whiney all day long. Even my 4 year old is not getting enough sleep with them waking him up so early. (Now they are all sick, so they are even more fun to be around.)
Anyone have any tips for getting them to sleep later in the morning? I don't mind them not taking naps, even though they are totally wiped out by the end of the day, it's the getting up early that's driving me crazy. |
