SUBJECT: Worried about house work that was done...
I am 24 weeks pregnant. For a couple of weeks during the first trimester and into the second, my house had work done. Basically, the room above the garage was finished. It involved painting, plastering, etc. I kept the door closed with a towel under it the whole time to try to avoid any smells/dust. Also, all staining and polyerthaning was done inside the garage and I did not use the garage. Occasionally, I could smell stuff but very occassionaly!

I had not been worried but now I am for some reason. Could being around this have affected my baby? My 18 week U/S looked fine but I can't stop worrying. I didn't do any of the work and was careful not to be around it but dust can find a way. Should I be worried?

Thanks.
