You are correct on that point!!!! I would insist she do a paternaty test... yes, it can be done with the amnio... I would contact an OB in your area and ask them this question... maybe there is another way... if she refuses, honestly, I would wait until the baby is born before doing anything too drastic... there is no way to prove this child is yours until the test is done... INSIST on this test...
