SUBJECT: Triple Screen Results
I just got the results from my triple screen back earlier this week and it came up as being positive for risk of Down's Syndrome. When I questioned the test results, I was told that none of the factors being tested were actually flagged as being within a risky range. Now I am being advised by my doctor's to go to genetic testing and to start thinking about getting an amniocentesis! I haven't even had my first ultrasound yet! They think I am about 17 weeks along, but I have always gotten my periods about every other month, so taht can be way off. What should I do? I hate to be stresing, but I can't help it!!
