I too had to go the hospital because of dehydration from morning sickness. I would strongly recommend that you get it if you doctor recommends it and there is any way you can afford it. It is the only thing that helped me. I realize that I am very fortunate that my insurance paid for it. However, it would only pay for it when medications like Reglan did not work. Believe me I know it is impossible to function when you are throwing up 20-30 times a day.
