Should Adult Children Be Subject To Spanking While They Still Live With Their Parents?

I hate to talk about this, but it has been bothering me for a few years. I just need to know how common it is.

I received spankings until the age of 25 (almost 26) when I finally got married and moved out of my parents house. It didn't happen very often, but I absolutely hated it when it did. My mom always did it, my dad never did.

I do understand that you need to always obey and honor your parents, especially when you still live in their house. No one I know personally knows that this happened other than my parents and sisters. I can't even bring myself to tell my husband. I love my parents very much, they are great parents, I just was embarrassed to be punished in such a child-like manner at such an older age!
