SUBJECT: Conception one week before period starts?
I was recently informed (last week) by a girl I had sex with a good while ago (a drunken, unprotected, one night stand, not proud of that fact) that she is pregnant and she says I may be the father. She tells me she's now 26 weeks along, and that she had a period that started about a week after our we had sex, and that she didn't realize she was pregnant until a month or so after her period ended. She also tells me that due to baby development, that the baby is too far along/not far enough along to be any of the other guys she's been with (that she can recall.) She tells me too, that her boyfriend after learning of the pregnancy, left her and now won't return her calls. She refuses to have an amniocentesis done (did I spell that right?) stating that it might hurt the baby, so I'm left in limbo wondering what to do. I've always had a low sperm count (due to a sports injury during puberty) and I have a girlfriend of four months now, I haven't told her yet. I just need to know, it feels like either I'm getting played, or I'm just not well enough informed. Any help would be greatly appreciated! -Brian
