| I had a stent placed in on Thursday too! I'm 33 weeks with my fourth. I have to say I really really feel for you guys who are mid or early pregnancy. I was feeling very sorry for myself thinking how I was going to possible get through the next 4 weeks!
I have the same worries and concerns that no one seems to have any info on. Yes, I have to pee every half hour and it looks like all I pee is blood. Plus it hurts like heck. I feel like the baby is sticking his little head down there and pushing on the stent with all his might. I cant walk.... and on and on. I hate this!!!!
We don't know what caused my problem, if it is a stone, kink or blockage. I lost the other kidney 7 years ago (maybe because of my son?) so it was frightning when this one got blocked.
I was told that this could stay in for 6 months, but man after reading your guy's stories, maybe I'll ask again.
Will the bladder irritation (sp) go away? I was told the bleeding may be on and off for the rest of my pregnancy, but more likely 7-14 days. Am I doomed for the rest of my pregnancy? Are you on bed rest? I have to lie down for a week to 10 days- yea, with a 3 year old, 7 year old and 12 year old! You should see the state of my house after 4 days!
It is so good to find this sight. I feel better.
