To tell you the truth I was also a virgin until I was 22 and I was not the last living virgin.
I also experienced pressure, people thinking I was strange, people thinking I was on some sort of moral high horse, and men thinking of me as a challenge. All were very annoying. But I was confident that I knew myself and I knew my needs the best. When I was ready I knew it would happen and it did.
I met a wonderfull man when I was almost done with college. He didn't view me as a challenge and he respected my choice to wait until the time was right to have sex. When I finally did decide to have sex with him it was entirelly my decision and it was fantastic. I am now married to that wonderful man and love him with all my heart. (We are expecting our first child in April). I always said that any man I would have sex with would have to have certain caracteristics I later found that any man I would fall in love with would have the same caracteristics.
So my advice is to take some time and discuss your feelings with our boyfriend. If he can't deal with the fact that you want to wait than leave him. But if he is worth getting to know better he won't mind slowing things down a bit.
Just sit down with him and tell him you are a virgin (if he doesn't already know), and tell him that you feel things have been moving to fast. Let him know that you really like him and that you want to get to know him better before you become more intimate.
