There are no side effects technically at this point. The egg (if fertilized) has not even implanted into the uterus. It's still taking it's journey on it's way there.

About a week after conception, the egg will implant into the uterus. It's then and only then that the fetus will start making HCG - the hormone urine and blood tests look for. It is possible that some woman may start symptoms at that point. Although my morning sickness didn't start until I was 6 weeks pregnant.

You have to wait until your period is due and take a urine test or get a blood test done at the drs.
