SUBJECT: Two yr old w/ Parasite
Our son had had diarrhea (not after every meal just as the normal daily BM) since July. Finally after doing the BRAT diet for 2 weeks, I convinced the dr to test for parasites. Test came back Blastocystis Hominus (sp) they treated with vermox and then 2 weeks later tested again, came back positive treated again with vermox. We are to test again next week, but again we had the blowout poop this morning. The entire family and dog have been tested and we do not have the parasite. Anyone had to deal with this before? This is extremely frustrating, it's been 3 months. HELP
