I am not sure if what I have to say will help or not. I have been trying for eight months. It is completely normal but still hard to swallow when that time of the month comes around. The first two or three months are really wacky, you might consider waiting until your body gets back into its own routine. My doctor told me for every year on the pill take one-two months to let your body re-adjust. Start preparing yourself by taking vitamins, or at least vitamin c. It goes a long way to preventing birth defects when you do become pregnant. As far as your first period after the pill being very painful and heavy that is normal too! If you think about it, some of that stuff has been stored up for quite some time. It has to go somewhere. Now I think I am rambling=) Well good luck and just don't give up.
