SUBJECT: Is my son a lefty or a righty?
My 7 year old son started from age 2 using his left hand dominantly to write with, throw a ball, bat, play golf, and eat. He went to pre-k at age 4, started the year writing left handed. About half way thru the year, he changed writing with his right hand and his writing became sloppy. He and his teacher insisted that nobody made him write with either hand, he just chose it. He still does everything else left handed, but refuses to write left handed. Do I encourage going back to left ar just let it be and hope his hand writing improves again? He plays all sports great with his left hand.
