Hey...

My doctor told me it can take up to a year to get pregnant. The "norm" is 3-6 months. I was on the pill for about 13 years and was pregnant about 2 months after I stopped. It's possible that the heavy painful period was actually a miscarriage....:( Give your body time to get used to regulating itself again, and try to relax and not worry about it - that increases certain hormones in your body which are counter-productive to conception.
