ok, just to tell u.....what leads people on to make fun of u, is lettin them know that it bothers u. i get made fun of sometimes just cuz of rumors in the past, and when people confront me about it i just say "so" or "and ur shallow enough to believe that?" or somethin like that. in your case you should say "isn't america a diverse country?" or "yeah and everyone see's right through you" just stuff like that will make them stop buggin u. trust me it helps
